The inaugural Ohio Cannabis Festival is shaping up to be the Northeast’s event of the year. Summit County’s amazing hospitality and natural beauty lines up to be a perfect host for budding entrepreneurs this Labor Day weekend at the Summit County Fairgrounds in Tallmadge. The venue is prepared to host thousands of starry eyed cannabis cannasseurs looking to break into the new adult use space created by voters last November. Ohio native Afroman takes stage along with the legendary Kottonmouth Kings to headline this two day legalization celebration. Show hours run from 10AM - 6PM both days.

It's a place where industry leaders gather to showcase their brands. People flock from all corners of the state to learn directly from growers, dispensaries, doctors, ancillary businesses like device manufacturers and advocacy groups. The education component is key to building and maintaining a vibrant medical cannabis program overseen by the Ohio Department of Commerce as well as laying a solid foundation for adult use infrastructure.

This cannafest features over 250 indoor and outdoor vendors of all types. Two dozen unique food vendors will offer the best munchies in the Buckeye State. The fair style event has 24 musical acts in total competing on two stages for your earbuds including the Ohio Cannabis Festival Battle of the Bands where one act will win $1,000 and secure a Main Stage slot in 2025. The line-up is building fast and applications are available on the website.

Over a dozen sponsors will spread out in preset spaces adorning canna fans with fancy marketing and everyone’s favorite, expensive and collectible swag. For those who question the word “swag” we mean bulk items like company apparel, custom souvenirs and branded products. Companies bring their best to the Ohio Cannabis Festival. Truck loads of their best.

2 Day General Admission tickets are available online and at the gates. High rollers can upgrade to the VIP experience including your own dedicated check-in kiosk where you receive credentials including an event tote bag, t-shirt, and poster. VIPs have access to exclusive celebrity meet and greets in VIP only areas. All tickets are reserved to adults 21 years of age and over with valid state ID.

Local businesses are welcoming green tourism. Partnering with the Akron Summit Convention Bureau, event promoters are filling hotels, shopping local vendors for supplies and contracting local labor for production. Organizers are excited to be hosting the state branded celebration in Tallmadge August 31 - September 1, 2024.

The Ohio Cannabis Festival is something you should try. It's a place for inclusion, diversity and plant loving people showcasing cannabis’ true potential through education and community. Bring your good vibes, best buds and live the high life for a weekend in Tallmadge. Event information, frequently asked questions and tickets can be found at www.cannafestohio.com.
